Icon Remover for Facebook is a simple application to remove the new Camera and Messenger icons that were added with the latest Facebook update. This application requires that the device be rooted and that the Superuser application is installed.

- Why does Icon Remover for Facebook require root access?
Unfortunately the Android security model does not make it possible for one application to enable/disable components for another application. We suggest you uninstall "Icon Remover for Facebook" after you have disabled the icons. Then if you ever need to restore the Facebook Camera / Messenger icons you can simply re-install this application and run it.
NOTE: We've had reports that some users lose the Facebook icon from their home screen after enabling/disabling the camera/messenger icons. Unfortunately this is a side effect of enabling/disabling certain package components from the command line and not something we can fix. Rest assured that your Facebook icon is still in your application drawer and you can manually place it back on your home screen.
